We welcomed
"Maitreya Rose Carroll"
into the world on Saturday, January 12th, at 10:23am.
She was 8 lbs, 3 oz (much bigger than anyone guessed!)
and 22 inches long.
In January Maya got to meet all her grandparents, several 2nd cousins, great aunts & uncles, and friends. The Boyans, Carrolls, and many Glistas visited throughout the first few weeks.
She was a very big girl from the start and was 9lbs by the end of the month. Long and lanky, she never fit in to those tiny "newborn" sizes. She already likes to show off holding her head up for several minutes and following toys with her eyes.
The answer to the big question..... she only sleeps 3-4 hours at night so far.
She is sweet and wonderful! We are totally in love!
