What a busy month!  Good thing Maya is such a mellow baby, the past few weeks have been filled with new things.  We started April with her 1st plane trip and visit to Phoenix (see previous post).  Daddy took her to the new dad "boot camp" at the hospital where they taught expectant fathers Jeff's brand of baby care - which is: hope you have a good wife! and the rest "you'll just figure out".  

Becky went back to work on the 14th.  Maya seems to have adjusted just fine to her 2nd cousin, Katie, babysitting... and Katie claims she is a good girl (I believe her!). 

We've welcomed the warm weather with daily evening walks.  Maitreya likes to blink at the sun and feel the wind.  Daddy can't wait until she is big enough to sit in the stroller.  15 1/2 + lbs in the front carrier is a bit of a strain!

To top it off, Maya managed to roll* from back to belly at 14 weeks.  And she continues to scoot all around her crib in her sleep, occasionally waking herself up by running her head into the bars.

* as of yet, the ROLL has only been successful NAKED**.  She is too bottom heavy to do it with her bulky cloth diaper butt.

Grandma Carroll had a nice Welcome Party for her.  She met lots of new  friends and family.  She loves playing pass the baby!
