Happy Birthday!

Maya turned 2 on January 12th.  We had her birthday party at Great Grandma's the following weekend, complete with a ballerina cake.  

Our amiga, Angela, is exactly 2 weeks younger than Maya and we attended her birthday party before heading off to the Sleeping Beauty Ballet.

Maya was very good.  She lasted quietly about three quarters through the performance and then began singing Doe-A-Deer and calling to the characters.  Our row was pretty empty so we gave her some space to move around and she made it through to the end.

As I've hinted to in previous posts, I've gotten into making cloth diapers. I'm now toying with the notion of selling them. Although I know only a handful of readers of "Maya's Blog" are parents of kids in diapers.... much less CLOTH DIAPERS, here's the link to my promo site (which is basically just another blogger format) IN CASE you are interested, or know a family who uses cloth. It is FAR from a business... still just a hobby, only posting on local Craigslist so far.

Actually, I should be spending more sewing time on Maya's new big girl bed quilt. She will have to move into it within the next couple months. It's currently about 10% underway.
